Show promotes Czech dairy products in KSA

RIYADH — With the attendance of more than 70 participants, the Dairy Conference and Culinary Demonstration was held recently at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Centre in hand with the Saudi Horeca Exhibition participation of the “EU Milky Way” promotional program.

“EU Milky Way” is an information and promotion campaign for dairy consumers in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia, the program aims at increasing the knowledge and daily dairy consumption of a selection of high-quality European dairy products made in the Czech Republic. The high-quality dairy products that are being promoted comprise the following: Milk and Cream, Condensed Milk and Cream, Yogurt and Sour Cream, Curd and Cream Desserts and Cheese and Dairy spreads.

Experts were invited to speak at the conference so as to engage the invited guests and all the food stakeholders present, by informing them about the European Dairy culture and by making them aware of the European high-quality standards and the value of dairy in terms of the daily dietary regimes of consumers.

The speakers included Jiri Kopacek, President of the Czech and Moravian Dairy Association,

Eduard Rehacek, Agri & Food Counsellor, Economic and Commercial Section Embassy of the Czech Republic in Riyadh

Nisar Ahmed Shaikh, Panorama Gulf Group, Business Operation Manager Layal Roueissati, Dietitian, Executive Chef Khawla Alsaib who masterfully demonstrated the usage of the dairy products and then invited all delegates and guests to a sumptuous buffet which included the dairy products being promoted.

The EU Milky Way program is initiated by the Czech and Moravian Dairy Association (ČMSM) and co-funded by the Czech Republic and the European Union. Present at the conference was Eduard Rehacek, who was there to assist the producers to do business with traders and distributors from the Middle East.
